• An outdated compact digital camera (this would be a great help at the Creche)
  • Small transistor radios in working order (most welcome by many of the elderly in Care)
  • Small square or rectangular tins (they can be used as pencil cases, sewing boxes)
  • * Heavy Duty “Packaging Tape” (for cartons) 30-40 large roll.
  • Sticky tape (prefer clear) for wrapping 300 + other items
  • Unlocked mobile phones – must be in good working order. Include battery charger as well. These are used to support micro businesses.
  • Spectacles – for our senior citizens.
  • 2,000 cakes of soap
  • Obsolete promotional items – e.g. cpas, bags, note books, drink bottles

The following items are needed to put together the individual children’s gift packs.

  •  Toothbrush, toothpaste, hand towel, talc powder, comb, bobby pins, hair ribbons (rolls), hair bands, pretty hair clips.
  • Marbles, small hand held games, balls, Australian novelty items (e.g. koala sticker sheets for children). No pictures of food please.
  • Lead pencils, rulers, textas, water colour box with lid, pencil case. Preschools need help with white and coloured chalk, duplo. No books in English please.
  • We need at least 2,000 exercise books (must be a minimum of 128 pages)
  • 1,000 pencil cases
  • Items for sewing kits – small scissors, needles, threads
  • Mini manicure sets
  • Beads for craft items (the sort you find in Two Dollar shops)
  • Folding umbrellas (used for sun and rain), rain coast for children
  • Watches, suitable for students in exams
  • Small dolls, teddy bears, small animal soft toys
  • Light cotton fabric for dresses

Clothing. Must be light cotton. NO jungle ‘camo’, khaki or uniforms

  • Boys and girls clothing sets age 3 to 5
  • Boys aged 10 years old
  • Girls underwear is a high priority – sizes 6 to 16. Must be 100% cotton
  • Ladies full size briefs (for older girls)
