In 2020 we sent gifts to the Bethlehem Creche and the Girls Hostel. Due to covid 19 we were unable to collect gifts. However, we did purchase exercise books, coloured pencils and pens to children in plantations where poverty is the norm. The children were also give a packet of milk powder for the family.

We provided exercise books, colour pencils and pens (purchased in Sri Lanka) for some children in plantations. Additionally we provided a packet of milk powder – approximately A$4 – this indeed was an added luxury.

As part our 20th year celebration we awarded 2 scholarships for girls commencing university. They are both from disadvantaged backgrounds and need to live away from home.  The scholarship will cover books and clothing and where needed something towards accommodation. They will each be undertaking a 4 year degree in Accountancy and Teaching. They commenced university in 2021 due to the delays experienced with covid 19 in Sept 2020.
