‘Goods in kind’ donations
New Items:
Stationery, toiletry items, clothing including girls underwear sizes 4 to 16 ONLY. The underwear must be modest – no g-strings please.
Used Items:
Sarees and salvars, laptops, unlocked mobile phones with charger, digital camera, tablets, wrist watches, clocks, and used spectacles preferably with case. These items are beneficial for our local partners, students, women setting up a business and people in the 3rd world who can put them to good use.
‘Transistor radios‘ are beneficial to people in Elders Homes and much appreciated by poor families who cannot afford a radio. They must be in working order. We also take small radios with mains connections as the power supply in Sri Lanka is 240 watts and compatible except for the plug which can easily be changed. Watches in working order are also helpful for senior students sitting examinations.
